Wild Bird Adventures (WBA) was founded out of a lifelong passion for birds and their conservation. We are committed to the care of our raptors so that they can be shared as education ambassadors to all ages and abilities. WBA offers exemplary and award-winning programs and photography that inspire the conservation of birds and their wild places. We are based in the Brazos Valley but provide programs in-person across southeast Texas, and virtually around the world.
WBA provides a home and habitat to birds that can no longer live in the wild and now inspire an appreciation of the natural world and support an environmentally informed citizenry. WBA brings the natural world to communities unable to experience avian ecology actively and regularly.
Explore our ongoing wild bird encounters that introduce the beauty and wonder of birds to audiences of all ages. Learn about the important roles these wild birds play in our world.

Cranes have elaborate mating dances that involve bowing, leaping and throwing sticks and leaves into the air and most mate for life.
