Get Enraptored with Raptors! Take a journey into the world of raptors from eagles to owls and falcons to vultures! We will learn all about the important role raptors play in the natural environment and why it is so important to conserve them and their habitats.
1. This program begins with an introduction to the world of birds
2. We then discuss what makes raptors different from other birds using live birds and specimens
3. The role of raptors in the environment is discussed
4. An overview of a variety of raptors are given and includes their natural history
5. Participants meet a variety of hawks and owls
6. Why it is important to conserve raptors and the dangers they still face is then discussed
7. Time is allowed for questions and answers
