Last week, Wild Bird Adventures had the privilege of co-hosting a live bird painting workshop at the annual Texas Art Education Association Conference in Galveston. The TAEA's goal is to advance the quality of visual arts education in Texas by emphasizing its importance in the curriculum. This yearly conference gathers numerous art educators from all corners of the state.
During the two-hour workshop, educators had the chance to interact with two of our education ambassadors, capture reference photos, and paint alongside the birds. The outcomes are consistently remarkable, showcasing unique techniques and styles.
If you are an art educator seeking a similar experience for your students, feel free to get in touch! Even if you are located far away, we are happy to arrange a virtual session with the birds in your classroom, providing high-quality reference photos of each bird for students to explore a diverse palette of feathers!
