Focus on Raptor Photography

Are you eager to learn about raptors and their conservation while capturing stunning photographs of hawks and owls? If so, consider registering for our upcoming spring photography shoot. This event will be held at our facility in Hempstead, approximately one hour northwest of downtown Houston. Our location offers a picturesque setting, providing wonderful backdrops for photographing the birds. The shoot will start around 7:45 AM to make the most of the cooler temperatures and early sunlight. These events are designed for small groups of up to 10 people, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to photograph each bird successfully. A standard shoot lasts approximately 2 hours.

Once we receive your email, you will be sent a registration link for payment. The registration fee is $60 per individual. All proceeds are dedicated to the care of our educational raptors and support educational programming. Wild Bird Adventures is entirely volunteer-run, and support from events like this helps ensure our raptors lead long and healthy lives.
