Are you passionate about nature photography or just curious about taking better photos while enjoying the great outdoors? Join us for one of our photo shoots to enhance your skills and learn about native birds and their conservation efforts. Additionally, the property is ideal for macro photography, with tiny creatures waiting to be discovered around every corner and beneath every leaf and flower.

This fall, we are excited to welcome Solo, the Barn Owl, to our team of ambassador educators. At eight years old, she cannot return to the wild due to a wing injury. Rescued on Bolivar Peninsula in 2017, she was just a nestling when a predator attacked her nest, leaving her as the sole survivor after her siblings perished.

You don't need fancy equipment to take great photos at one of these shoots. All the images below were taken with an iPhone.
