Spirit's Legacy

Over 32 years ago, a courageous young Red-tailed Hawk was shot down in western Montana. She lost part of one of her wings from the injury, but her indomitable spirit remained. For 32 years, she contributed to educating the public about the magnificence of birds and their crucial role in the planet's survival. Spirit passed away in 2024, and we still miss her. In her honor, we are dedicating and naming the new raptor outbuilding for Wild Bird Adventures to her. This new building will function as an office, classroom, volunteer meeting room, and storm evacuation facility for the birds during severe weather conditions. If you would like to contribute towards this critical investment, we thank you. We are 100 percent volunteer, and all our funding and donations support education programming and the care of our wonderful ambassadors. We will share more photos as it is completed. You can donate any amount here: https://www.wildbirdadventures.org/donate
